On April 4th, 1994, the NCAA National Championship game was battled out in Charlotte Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina. A match-up of the first seeded Arkansas Razorbacks and the two seeded Duke Blue Devils, this title game lived up to the hype as the Razorbacks squeaked past the Blue Devils, 76-72, to claim their first national championship in school history. The Duke Blue Devils were making there 7th title game appearance and were playing in front of what was virtually a home crowd, creating very difficult odds for the Arkansas Razorbacks to overcome.
